About Friends of
Ijebu-Ode Dioces, Inc
The Mission Promotions Office for the
Catholic Diocese of Ijebu-Ode Diocese began in 2005 through the selfless effort
of Rev. Albert Adeleke and the support of the Saint Joseph Society of the Sacred Heart (JOSEPHITES). The incorporation as we have it today, Friends of Ijebu-Ode Diocese, Inc., began in 2011.

Friends of Ijebu-Ode Diocese, Inc. is a
religious, charitable, not-for-profit Section 501(c)(3) Organization formed specifically to make contributions to support the Catholic Church’s educational, charitable, and
pastoral missions in the Catholic Diocese of Ijebu-Ode, Nigeria.
This charitable organization seeks to bring together Friends who, through their
resources, support the various pastoral projects going on in Ijebu-Ode Diocese,
Nigeria.

Our Mission is centered on:

1. Supporting the work of evangelization in the rural parishes in the diocese
2. Building and re-constructing the
3. Building schools and training children
4. Providing water for communities
5. Providing primary health care for villagers
6. Training seminarians for the church
Friends of Ijebu-Ode Diocese, Inc. is incorporated as a not-for-profit in the USA. It is listed in the Official Catholic Directory (2023), page 72.
Each year, at the beginning of the tax season, a letter acknowledging all donations for the past year are sent to each donor for the IRS tax rebate process.
We make it a point of duty to offer the sacrifice of the Holy Mass for the intentions of our benefactors every first Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of every month.
